Prix Europeen des arts appliques

My work was selected for the Prix Europeen and printed my 'heart' (a broche) on the poster which was published through the whole city of Mons/Bergen (Belgium).

I've been to Brazil!

In Sao Paulo I gave a lecture and a workshop and I took part in the design symposium BOOMSPdesign.

Arte Libera (Geneva) invited me for an exposition about 'Childhood protection' and the jewellery and the soundwork I made, can be seen (and heard) here.

In march '06 I made the chain of office for the poet laureate of the district council, Hans Kloos.

As a spin-off of making jewelry, I occasionally give lectures, workshops & together with colleague Karin Seufert (Berlin), and with a big support of Paul Derrez from gallery Ra, I organized a traveling exhibition First we quake, now we shake. This exhibition was shown in Amsterdam in gallery Ra last june (see photo above), and will travel in September 2006 to Tokyo (gallery Deux Poissons), and in March 2007 to Münich (the BKV). We hope to engage more places in our project.

Since February 2006, I gave workshops in jewelry making for elementary school children (see photo). The photo below shows the participants of a jewelry workshop at ‘Het Mooie Werk’ in Amsterdam, wearing their jewelry-works.
